Anti Networking Networking

You don't hate networking.

You hate the hyper-individualistic, inauthentic, sell-yourself version that our extractive capitalist work culture has convinced us is what "networking" means.

Welcome to the Anti Networking Networking Club!

This is where we do it differently.

We are bad-ass visionary social-justice centered organizational leaders, business owners, consultants, strategists, academics, practitioners, writers, funders, fundraisers, donor organizers, cultural workers down to strengthen our networks as ecosystems so they effectively facilitate actionable connection, build true relationships, generate sustainable work, and meet our collective needs.

Whereas conventional networking can end up being an (ironically) isolated individual labor-intensive burden, the Anti Networking Networking Club is a blatantly irreverent name but stands ten-does down in building collective power that strengthens our individual capacity to create collaborative, cooperative, and financially sustainable values-aligned work.

We are here to make rad sh*t happen. And cultivate joy and ease (and humor) along the way.

Core Principles

꩜ Collective Power = Individual Thriving. We are rooted in Solidarity Economy principles of solidarity, cooperation, community investment, economic democracy, and collective liberation.

꩜ Transparency as Care. We name real things with real talk – needs, budgets, scope, capacity, defined asks and offers – to facilitate direct connections that meet clear individual, organizational, and business needs.

꩜ Curated Connection. Virtual and IRL gatherings are curated to who is in the room and designed to facilitate and "seed" actionable connections that grow beyond our gathering.

꩜ Regenerative Reciprocity. We give generously of our time and resources based on our capacity and generously receive what others have to give based on our needs. This ebbs and flows individually but builds and expands our collective capacity to (re)generate what we need.

꩜ Defiant Joy. We name and do not bypass the f*kery we are all navigating and we commit to building authentic connections with irreverent humor and defiant joy.
